Welcome to the Reading Resolutions website. My name is Paula Chesnes. I am a reading tutor who is specialized in the area of phonology. I formed Reading Resolutions in August 2008. Strengthening auditory processing skills and phonemic awareness is the basis of my method. My background as a former cognitive skills trainer enables me to apply specific drills and exercises to improve overall processing speed, attention, memory and other issues that affect learning ability and reading as well. I have a bachelor degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Science from Cleveland State University. I have logged over 5,800 tutoring hours over the years working with students, and have enjoyed every minute of it! The pleasure is truly mine. I really love what I do. Just like a smile, I know my passion and enthusiasm is contagious, and spills over to the work effort of my students.
